These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Divine Software Systems LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") regarding your use of Parish Connect services, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.
2. Description of Services
Parish Connect is a white-label church app platform that provides faith communities with:
Custom-branded mobile applications
Fully customized apps for churches
Content management systems
Ministry tools available now; full admin panel customization coming soon
Digital giving platform
Secure donation processing capabilities
Event scheduling tools
Comprehensive event management features
Community engagement
Prayer requests, announcements, and more
Technical support
App store deployment and ongoing updates
3. Free-Forever Service and Advertising Support
Parish Connect is completely free forever for parishes. We do not charge parishes setup, subscription, hosting, maintenance, or technical support fees for the parish app.
Advertisers help fund the operation of the apps. The free parish app is not conditional on your parish securing a minimum number of sponsors. All we ask is your support for the app and the community businesses that help make it possible.
Separate third-party services, including payment providers used for digital giving, remain subject to their own terms. Any advertiser agreement is separate from the parish’s free app service.

Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you provide, including church information, announcements, and prayers. We receive only a limited license to provide our Services.
Our Platform
The Parish Connect platform, software, and features remain our intellectual property. You receive a limited license to use our platform for your church's needs.
Third-Party Content
Our Services may include third-party integrations. We're not responsible for third-party content and don't guarantee its accuracy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
Service Disclaimers
Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
By You
You may terminate by discontinuing use and providing written notice. Payment obligations for completed services remain.
By Us
We may terminate for Terms violations or legitimate business reasons, with reasonable notice when possible.
Effect
Upon termination, Service access ceases. We provide reasonable data export assistance but don't maintain data indefinitely.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with American Arbitration Association rules.
Before formal dispute resolution, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiations to resolve disputes.
